This year the Second Russian-Polish Legal Day was held on 24 October at the Hotel Courtyard Marriott in Moscow.

The First Russian-Polish Legal Day was held on November 21, 2012 in Warsaw with the official support of the Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Justice of Poland, the Russian Embassy in Poland, and the Polish Embassy in Moscow. The conference was also supported by the Warsaw Stock Exchange, the Polish Chamber of Advocates, the Chamber of Advocates of Warsaw, the District Chamber of Legal Advisers in Warsaw, the Moscow Chamber of Advocates, the Federal Chamber of Advocates of the Russian Federation, the Russian Authors’ Society, and the Polish Authors’ Society.

During the First Russian-Polish Legal Day an important event took place — the signing of the cooperation agreement between the Moscow Chamber of Advocates and the District Chamber of Legal Advisers in Warsaw, as well as the District Bar Council in Warsaw. Under the agreement it is planned to organize mutual trainings, seminars, conferences, meetings, in order to strengthen the direct contacts between Polish and Russian advocates and lawyers.

Russian-Polish Legal Day is a significant step towards cooperation of legal and business communities of Russia and Poland. Such relationship is a necessary and natural process, allowing Russian and Polish companies to develop their activities and invest in business development, trade and production in a comfortable legal, business and social-cultural conditions. The event gives great opportunities to exchange information and discuss problems facing practicing lawyers and advocates accompanying bilateral business projects.
